Sorry to burst your bubble  - check the notices section of the site. You will notice that the "appointment" is actually the one for your fingerprints, and not for your interview. Mine says the same thing: I applied late December 2017, interview letter got mailed on 12/29, and I had interviews on January 3 (walk-in). Ever since, the old site had the same message - that an appointment letter had been mailed, but I have not received any. 

 

YMMV - but continue checking the new site too.

I don't think so .. Mine changed from 11mos, to 8mos and now 9 months.. Their system is messed up that's why no one believes their dates.

8/18/2014: Accepted in Chicago. Transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

8/21/2014: Received NOA 1. I-130, I-485, I-765 in mail.

8/25/2014: Received biometrics in mail. Scheduled for 9/8/2014

9/24/2014: EAD approved. 36 Days!

10/01/2014: EAD mailed.

10/03/2014: Received EAD card.

10/14/2014: I-485 moved to testing and interview.

1/28/2015: Interview scheduled for 3/4/2015.

1/31/2015: Received interview notice.

3/4/2015: Interview completed and APPROVED!

It depends how backloged they are. You applied 4 months ago they might said you are within the processing time. You might wanna check what month they are processing now. I waited 8 months for my interview, and when I called them back in December they told me it might be 10 months to a year from start to finish!

you only filed in December, you need to stop wasting their time with all these enquiries, it will be done when it's done, RELAX!!

Actually problem is that my husband is in my native country and I wanna visit my native country to meet my husband.
