Just received an email stating there was an update on my case. 

Checked the USCIS app and it shows that the interview has been scheduled. 

The online website has not been updated yet and im expecting it to change in the next 24 hours.

Congratulations! I am also December 2017 filer  and my case estimation time was OCT 2018 but now I checked today it is change into Nov 2018 . Can anyone who experience this can tell me these etimation time lines are right ?? And is it possible to complete my process of citizenship before this completion time.

Thanks. I had my initial ECD as May but it got pushed to June. I think they make these changes according to current files.

I wont count on the estimated dates blindly since there are people who had 10 months ECD and got done in 2 months.

Dec filers,  It looks like the USCIS system has updated ECD dates pushing them  to a month back.   My original ECD is Dec 2018 but now, I see the latest ECD as Jan 2019. I'm not sure if this a system update impacting all the field offices or just the busy ones.

I'm a December filer. My fingerprints were on Jan 12. Around the 13th or 14th Feb I got a status alert in the app but nothing actually changed since . All I see is that the case tracker says for next steps 'We will prepare your case for officer review' . I'm not sure it said the same thing in January as well. 

 

I noticed that lately quite a few go from fingerprints to interview letter after some time. I wondered if this 'soft LUD' at one month after fingerprints indicates that the background check is back and that the case is now in line for interview, but without the site updating the status in any way other than this ?

Sent: 12/17/2017

Rxed: 12/17/2017

NOA: 12/16/2017

Fprints: 1/12/2018

FO: Sacramento, CA

ECD: 01/2019 (no change since I filed)

My ECD was May 2018 and got pushed to June.

NOA: Receipt Notice Date Printed on your official I-797 notification.
Fprints: Date assigned for fingerprinting (Bio-metrics). If you do your biometrics via walk-in prior to your scheduled appointment, please enter the date in bold blue.
In Line: Date you received e-notification about the start of your interview scheduling.
Int Ltr: Date you received the official letter in the mail regarding interview.
Interview: Date of your interview.
Oath: Date Oath taken.

Field Office: Your local USCIS office where you will have the N-400 interview. You can determine your field office here.

NBC: National Benefits Center

IOE: ELIS (efile)

ECD: Estimated completion date as reported in USCIS website for your case

Mine is Oct.2018 but it changed to aug 2018 now.

Well I tried the old web site yesterday to check my status and it said that they mailed my oath letter!. In fact that's the only way I have been checking my status and for me had worked all the time.
