I was just thinking, December filers are moving along rather slowly compared to the November and January filers. Was poking around the different threads to compare; nothing better to do while waiting. LOL.

Fprints: Date assigned for fingerprinting (Bio-metrics). If you do your biometrics via walk-in prior to your scheduled appointment, please enter the date in bold blue.
In Line: Date you received e-notification about the start of your interview scheduling.
Int Ltr: Date you received the official letter in the mail regarding interview.
Interview: Date of your interview.

Posting one final status update after a long Exciting Journey. Anyone wondering about oath ceremony, it was pretty standard just like you would read anywhere else on the internet. Went through security, there were already representatives lining candidates. They make you enter room in batches of roughly 10. They checked my invitation letter and took my green card at the entrance door to the ceremony hall and checked me in. All the guest were asked to wait in the lobby until they checked all the candidates in the hall. We had 77 candidates so there was enough room for guests to sit. Once all candidates were seated, guests were allowed to step in. I had 4 guests with me and it was absolutely no problem. they don't really check how many you have so far as you are reasonable they would be okay. Infact they applauded all the guests to attend the ceremony and being part of most important moments of our lives so that was kind of sweet. Most the candidates were neatly dressed and i would recommend everyone to, atleast for good pictures I was in and out in roughly 1 hour 15 mins (including time to take photos). Good luck to everyone and wish you all get your approvals soon.

January seems faster than december certainly based on data. My field office reports on this forum shows that January filers already received interview letters while . November/December are still not yet.

Is there a way to stop these “Your Case is still being reviewed” emails every two weeks? I’m so annoyed at this system. We all pay the same fee, why some people get through in 3 months while some wait over a year? That’s ridiculous!

Totally agree. They aren’t consistent and their timeline table is BS. You can login online and disable the inactivity alert

I wish I would have filed online. My sister did so on about Jan 2 and has her interview for Apr 2. Lucky...

The Lewisville, Texas seems like the slowest. Only one person so far (on super fast-track).

Does anyone know if the ECDs hold true?

So I went for my interview yesterday...

Short story: Everything went well, and I was recommended for approval

Long story: My interview was scheduled for 8:00 am at the Chicago field office. I arrived at 8:01 am, and got checked in at 8:03 am. The person at the check in desk hands you a slip with a number, to which you have to listen when that number is called. After only waiting for about 10 minutes, my number got called and I walked with the IO to her office. She then told me raise my hand and swear to tell the truth, etc. We sat down and she asked to see my green card, driver's license, and current passport. We then started with the civics questions. The questions I got asked were:

8. What did the Declaration of Independence do?
13. Name one branch or part of the government.*
19. We elect a U.S. Senator for how many years?
31. If both the President and the Vice President can no longer serve, who becomes President?
35. What does the President’s Cabinet do?
39. How many justices are on the Supreme Court?

The reading part of the test was to read the sentence "When is Columbus Day?". The written part of the test was to write: "Columbus Day is in October". She then proceeded to ask me questions about my application: My legal name, social security number, place of birth, occupation, home address, etc. Then she asked the yes/no questions.

She then said that she is recommending my application for approval, and should make myself available for the oath ceremony in 30-40 days time.

All in all, the interview took about 30 minutes. As I walked out of the interview room (and to the general waiting area), I saw that there were a group of people getting ready for their oath ceremony. So I stuck around a little bit longer to see that process, knowing I would be going through it in a little while.

Something worth noting: The civics questions which the IO asked me were from a printed page that was included in my file. This means to say that your questions are chosen long before your interview date, and not as I previously thought that the IO has the list of 100 questions and chooses which 6-10 to ask you. Also, none of the additional paperwork/evidence I brought was asked for (but of course you should still bring yours).

I checked my online case status this morning, and the status had changed to approved. So now I'm just waiting for the date of the oath ceremony, and the ceremony itself.

Went through security, there were already representatives lining candidates. They make you enter room in batches of roughly 10. They checked my invitation letter and took my green card at the entrance door to the ceremony hall and checked me in. All the guest were asked to wait in the lobby until they checked all the candidates in the hall. We had 77 candidates so there was enough room for guests to sit. Once all candidates were seated, guests were allowed to step in. I had 4 guests with me and it was absolutely no problem. they don't really check how many you have so far as you are reasonable they would be okay. Infact they applauded all the guests to attend the ceremony and being part of most important moments of our lives so that was kind of sweet. Most the candidates were neatly dressed and i would recommend everyone to, atleast for good pictures I was in and out in roughly 1 hour 15 mins (including time to take photos). Good luck to everyone and wish you all get your approvals soon.

I always thought once you are a US Citizen!

you don't have to keep updating the USCIS with every time you move or I'm I missing something here?

You’re right U.S. citizens are not required to report address changes to USCIS. The address notification heads up in the aforementioned status is for OP just in case, so he can get his oath ceremony notice from USCIS to attend his naturalization ceremony. Remember you don’t get to be a U.S. citizen until you take the oath of allegiance at the naturalization ceremony.
