Also, I was out of the country for 9 days and placed a hold on my USPS mail.  They delivered it on Saturday, and my biometrics letter was not there.  Thank goodness for the online copy.  Can't trust USPS to get things right these days.

The letter always carries that generic no cell phone policy, however; it depends on the field office. My local field office in Seattle allows phone use generally.

8/18/2014: Accepted in Chicago. Transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

8/21/2014: Received NOA 1. I-130, I-485, I-765 in mail.

9/24/2014: EAD approved. 36 Days!

10/01/2014: EAD mailed.

My account status was updated on January 6, saying that we have scheduled your biometric but I can't see the latter in document tab. After how many days of the status update does the letter appear in document tab?

My State is Pennsylvania...

Still I haven't seen the Biometrics Appointment letter online in my account, can anyone tell me approx. how many days it taked for USCIS to upload the documents.?????

I kept my wedding band on and the agent was fine with that also I had my phone with me but it was turned off and it was okay!

Give it about 24hrs, it should appear then.

12/3/2014: EAD and Advanced Parole in Production :dancing:

12/12/2014: EAD/AP Card received

1/23/2015: Interview is Scheduled for February 27!

1/28/2015: Interview Letter Received

3/10/2015: Greencard Received

 

12/3/2016: Filed i751 at California Service Center

 

12/4/2016: Filed N400 - Dallas TX

 

2/18/2018: i751 Case transferred to Local Office

2/26/2018: i751 Case received at Local Office

1/5/2018: i751 Case Transferred And New Office Has Jurisdiction

I had my Bio-metrics done today at the local Boston office. The place was half empty and the officers were jovial and helpful.

 

Went in 20 minutes early and got done in 10 minutes. They fingerprinted both hands and gave me the "Learn about the United States' booklet.

They are not stern about electronic devices as long as your not using it but frown upon bringing in food and drinks!

 

Strange thing is that on checking the USCIS website I found that my estimated time has changed to 4 months (May 2018) from the previous 5 months.
