It's not normal if you filed your application correctly but it's totally normal if information are wrong. Check they second exact copy of your application and see where the error is. Either way... you need to send them what they request.

Yes this is normal if you filed by mail. It's your NOA receipt and proof of payment just to make sure it's exactly what you put on the application. I equally got one since I filed by mail.

Fprints: Date assigned for fingerprinting (Bio-metrics). If you do your biometrics via walk-in prior to your scheduled appointment, please enter the date in bold blue.
In Line: Date you received e-notification about the start of your interview scheduling.
Int Ltr: Date you received the official letter in the mail regarding interview.
Interview: Date of your interview.
Oath: Date Oath taken.

Looks like my local field office in Seattle picked up some steam slightly. It was 11 months as of early December when I applied and processing times have dropped by 2 months since then.

I did have a visa journey account with full timeline back in 05 but lost it !!

I've been here on a GC for 12 years!, first GC was a 2 year conditional, and my 10 year GC is about to expire, so here I am, choosing the Citizenship route!

Question about biometrics:

 

For the women, were you asked to remove your jewelry (ie, earrings)?  I remember doing this for my green card.

 

Also, the letter says, no cellphones allowed.  Did you have to leave yours in your car?  If they are really strict about it then I might just leave mine at home.

Also, I was out of the country for 9 days and placed a hold on my USPS mail.  They delivered it on Saturday, and my biometrics letter was not there.  Thank goodness for the online copy.  Can't trust USPS to get things right these days.

I did mine last week and was told to remove earrings (eventhough they were so small you could barely see them). The letter says no phone so I just left mine in the car.
