That is one of my fears with nvc losing people's documents and then having to start all over again with a new scan date. You should try calling them

I just called them and was told the file was sent over to a supervisor on the 14th of the month. So the email I received was an automated email. They said not to send in anything yet since they are reviewing it and it does look like the case is moving along.

What is your scan date?

November 22. I called and it’s under supervisor review. So just have to it wait out right now.

Exactly. That is my fear too, that they will lose documents and it will set everything back!

Unfortunately getting help from the Senator has not helped in this step. Pakistan Embassy said they would expedite visa interview once NVC approved docs, senator asked them to expedite document process and they responded with "We will take up to 11 weeks", Senators staff even explained the issue and why the expedite was necessary but noooo... waiting and waiting, hopefully we all get our CC soon, before the year ends!

People who get stuck at Nebraska have it really bad... I hated being stuck there but at least everything is moving along now.

I know, separation is difficult, thankfully I went and stayed in Pakistan for a few months but I know for the working spouse it is more difficult to do. I just keep telling myself "a few more months and then there will be no separation anymore iA"

Really? I read up on some people on here who had good experiences, hopefully it isn't too bad and our spouses get the visa easily. I told my husband the moment he gets that passport back that he better be on the next flight here, haha!

Good luck to us all. May our trials in this process finally end!

Call them and ask if your documents have been put into the system.

I sent the requested documents to nvc on Monday  and it was delivered on Tuesday.  I Called them yesterday and I was told the documents has just been entered into the system yesterday. Does that mean my scan date is yesterday? Also when I checked the online case status page on nvc it's  still saying I should submit requested documents. Does this status normally change or it just stays the same until case complete? Any reply to this will be appreciated.

Just out of curiosity, what did you use to hold all the papers when you mailed the packet to the NVC?  I have everything very organized in a stack, and I have manila folders dividing civil documents, Affidavit of support and documents, and a folder for all supporting evidence.  After looking, it appears that only a binder will hold everything.  Is that okay to send it that way?  I would appreciate any advice.  Thanks!
