Also I believe NVC will send you a welcome letter, which will have a list of documents you are required to submit.

Thank you ..are they gonna send it on the e-mail address I gave them or on the mailbox?

Received our i130 approal on Dec 1, and still no status change on the USCIS website. Anyone around the same timeline who's status changed to 'Sent to DOS'? or received welcome letter from NVC

I can't really wait to hear from NVC? :(

Hello. I was approved in September and have already submitted AOS and IV package. But my status on USCIS still says that they received our response to RFE. So I assume the status doesn’t matter as long as you got the approval letter. Don’t worry. My case reached NVC after 6 weeks. Kept calling them every week.

Hey Guys! I called NVC this morning after I filled my DS-261 and paid the AOS fee to confirm DS-261 submission, and the lady on the phone said they have not received anything yet and could take up to 3 weeks, but she also said that IV fee should be opened over next week. What am I missing here?

you are not missing anything. Sometime, it takes longer to show bill as PAID on the system. As long as you paid the bill and it was deducted from your account, you should be fine

This is a discussion group. So, I don't think that there is an restriction in place who can or can't join in this discussion

Hey guys,

I completed the DS-261 choice of agent form today. How long did it take you to get the AOS and the IV invoiced to you?

Appreciate it.

I had my AOS and DS-261 opened at the same time. You should get your AOS bill opened very soon, IV bill might open, one or two weeks  after AOS bill payment

The IV rate opens after 2 days of processing the previous payment (AOS) ... Of course you can send the documents, only they will not check it until you have completed the 6 steps of NVC .. after you have already done everything and sent the DS260 and they check them, already there the count begins ..

Is your husband the father of your kids? If not, you're husband was supposed to file separate petitions for them to USCIS. I don't think you can just add them to yours, I'm not sure. Maybe ask this question on the process & procedures board so that some of the more experienced members can help you.

Yes, it's possible they may not update the status online even after they send it. So you can call USCIS & ask if or when it will be sent. But since October it seems they are taking 4-5 weeks to mail them, according to quite a few visa journey members. I will call next week when I'm back in the U.S. if they haven't sent mine by then.
