I just got a checklist from the NVC (even though my online status was changed yesterday to 'at NVC' and I thought I had CC) for my Police Certificate . I made an EXACT copy of the file we sent to NVC and the police certificate was in there - I am 100% sure! Has anyone else experienced this? I am quite angry because I am sure the certificate was included. It has an English translation at the bottom, perhaps I should translate the entire document?

Did u put case number on every paper ?

If you included police certificate in ur cover letter try calling nvc and maybe they will accept ur 2nd ceritificate quickly ?

It is possible to get a CC with a checklist; in that case you are generally asked to bring the missing document during the interview. You might need to double check by calling NVC

Thanks guys! Sorry it was a FALSE ALARM! I called them and they said your case is complete and you just have to bring it to the interview, that's all!

Yes I did, and I called them and they said it was a glitch by the system. My case is complete! So, it was a false alarm. Always a good idea to call :-) thanks for your support!!

Hi,

We received the i130 on Dec1.

How much time should I wait before inquiring for when will the file be sent to NVC?

Check USCIS online status and I would say a week after the date it is sent to DOS. If the status still showing "Case Received", it is probably still in the queue for postage.

It says 'case approved'. But ok, we'll wait for it to change.

Unfortunately Texas is super slow with sending files to NVC. My case was approved November 15th & they still haven't sent it! I won't be back in the U.S. until December 21st, if they haven't sent it by then, I'll call USCIS. But I've been seeing a few cases on here with the same problem. Someone on here was approved end of October & it still hasn't been sent.

4-24-17 I-130 sent to Chicago Lock Box

4-25-17 NOA 1 & sent to TSC

11-15-17 NOA 2

12-26-17 Case sent to Dept. of State

1-08-18 NVC Received case

3-12-18 Case Number Assigned / AOS & IV Fees Paid

3-14-18 DS-260 Completed

3-16-18 Uploaded Civil Documents

3-21-18 Uploaded AOS Documents

3-26-18 Checklist to reupload docs

3-29-18 Finished uploading docs

4-4-18 Case Complete

4-13-18 Received interview email

5-18-18 Interview date

5-24-18 Visa Issued

That was the same issue for me as well. My case was approved in Texas October 16, but it wasn't sent for awhile and NVC didn't receive it until November 27!

We are getting everything together that we can possibly come up with for the NVC phase. I have seen where some people have included personal statements or relationship timelines, which have been written by the USC. Is this recommended?

Also, I haven’t seen anything saying they were required for the Affidavit of Support, but should bank statements be submitted?  I was planning to submit tax transcripts for the past three years, W2s, pay stubs, an employee letter, and my retirement account profile.  Should bank account info be included?

guys any thoughts on this
