Hi guys,

What do you guys use as proof of domicile? Most of all the documents like paystubs, IRS Tax Transcripts have me name and address on them. I don't remember sending anything for that when sending documents to the NVC, but now that I am preparing the documents for the interview it came to my mind again since it's on the list.

I think this only applies if petitioner lives abroad. But since you didn't needed during NVC stage, I don't think you will need that now

I try to be patient but this is honestly so unfair. I have asked and only one of the cases that are currently schedule for January are expedited. I asked NVC agent why I did not receive an interview yet and their answers always change when I bring up the fact that others already have their interviews scheduled.

NVC is driving me crazy with the unorganized process for interviews.....

I am the only person left on this thread and on a thread on FB with 9/20 case completed date. Almost 3 months now.

Interview scheduling time varies country to country. Some people gets earlier interview than others depend on availability of interview spot on his or her country's US Embassy. On my recent letter from NVC (which was send to confirm that they have received all necessary documents (CC)), it was mentioned that they normally schedule an interview within 3 months after they have received all required documents

I received both, first e-mailed interview letter (4 days after it was scheduled) and actual letter by mail (a week after it was scheduled)

thanks for the response, and how long did you get scheduled after your CC date?

I had to call them up and once i spoke to someone then they told me about the interview being scheduled. It might have been a coincidence but my email came in a day after i called them.

thanks for the response, seems that you were scheduled about 2 weeks after your CC date. I will try calling next week tuesday on my 2 week mark and asking if i dont receive anything from now til then. thanks again

My husband has a friend that was petitioned and completed everything at the end of 2016. According to him, he said that he called the embassy in the filing country (El Salvador) a week after he got CC and asked for his interview appointment and it was given to him. I'm not sure if it was because he had the i-601a waiver or was it luck that they scheduled him when he called? Anyone know if theres a difference when a waiver of inadmissibility is used in the process?
