If approved how long does it take for them to return you your passport?

Interview Jan 3rd CDJ Mexico

My husband had his interview on Nov. 27th. He was approved and he is still waiting for his passport. They did tell him it would take 1-2 weeks.

He has gone to the place he has to pick it up and they said it take 3-10 business days. His status still says ready.

We also heard  it take a 2-3 days but that didn't happen to us.

It is stressing because he is paying for food and a place to stay. We didn't expect him to stay that long.

He is in CJ. I will keep you updated when we hear something. I hope It is soon. Tomorrow will be 2 weeks since he left.

Apparently after the interview they tell to wait 2 weeks, but the norm is more like 2 or 3 days.

Thank you

Today marks one week since his interview... He had it on a Monday so it sucks that he didn't get it last Friday.... I guess even that step takes longer now :(

I thought we had to wait for the letter before we can schedule the appointments for medical and biometrics?

They only send it by email and it takes about 5 days from the day they schedule the interview date.

I didn’t ask the price my friend went and it was around $400 dollars because she had to end up getting all the shots, she said The Friday before should be good because they can give you the results either same day or on Monday and he has to do fingerprints on Monday since the appt is on a Tuesday I have attached a picture with their info

No, Ready means he is ready for his interview date. Well that is what it says in the information part.

It says the last time it was updated was on the 27th, the day of his interview.

I believe after that it should change to AP (approved)  then Issued once it is ready.

He has gone to ask where he is suppose to pick it up and they say to wait 3-10 business days. Today will be 5 business days after his interview.

My husband is going nuts.

Oh yes you are correct. WOW that is a really long time to wait. I bet its because of the month it fell on. As you can see the consulate was very behind. I hope he gets it this week

I am not sure where my husband went but he only paid about $250.

He went to a clinic here in the U.S. and got all the shots he needed and they accepted them. So he didn't get any shots there. He did go a week before his interview. Sometimes they will not accept them if you got them a while back.
