Does K2 affects the timeline for Fiance visa processing?

Supposedly it helps move it quicker.  The adjudicator gets credit for more than one approval when there is a K2.  I have 2 K2s so in theory, the adjudicator would get credit for 3 approvals by looking at our file.  They supposedly look for K2s because they are easy ways to get a lot approvals on their record.

My k2 has his biological father's last name on her BC and he signed it but we were never married nor he took part with the child's responsibilities either. Will it complicate the petition?

Nope.  In the Philippines the mother always gets full custody.  No worries at all.  Just waiting...LOL

You should fill out your timeline.  Also, you did mail your petition to the Texas lockbox but your petition is actually handled by the California Service Center.

I honestly don't understand what the lockbox is all about and how it differs from the service centers. Lol

The lockbox is where they receive the petition and take the check.  After that they send the petition to California to get processed.

If you just put the November 30th NOA1 date in and show the California Service Center, the site will generate a preliminary estimate of your potential approval date.

Yes.  Everybody sends their petitions to a lockbox location first.  They take the check and do a real quick look.  They look for the proper forms and signatures.  Many get rejected for wrong forms, no signature or wrong amount sent.  After that the petition sits in California for 5 to 6 months
