where do i call?

Hi,

Does anyone know whereto i should call to check if our I-129F is in the system allready?

We didnt get the NOA1 yet. We sent the 129 to chicago lockbox.

transfered tot CSC on may 21 2007
NOA2 june 12 2007!!!!!

emailed choice of agent using james shortcuts on july 10 2007
paid AOS fee bill july 11 2007
I-864 generated july 24 2007
I-864 sent july 26 2007 (using shortcuts)
Choice of agent accepted and IV bill generated on july 25 2007
I-864 accepted on august 10 2007
IV bill payed on august 20 2007
IV bill accepted and DS230 generated on september 5 2007
DS230 sent in on september 8 2007 (using James shortcuts)
DS230 received by NVC on september 12 2007

At this point, the best way to know if you are in the system is to login to your bank account. If the check has been cashed, the image will show the case number. Then register at the USCIS website for email updates.

The best way to learn the process is to read lots of posts in the appropriate forum. If you were doing that, you would have seen the answer to your question here several times since April 10.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

Ok, thanks for your response and ill keep an closer eye on that! My question was because i read in several topics that people are calling and i cant find a number.

I am having the same issue with NOA1. I sent I129F on 4/14/07 and they received it on 4/17/07. They just cashed my check yesterday and when i looked at my bank account online. The back of the check image gave me bunch of numbers. There were 3 sets of 10 digit numbers. I know that the receipt number is 13 letters&numbers. I am guessing one of those three sets of 10 digit numbers will be my Receipt number. how do i know what is the letter thats being assigned to my receipt number.

Is there any specific spot on the check image i should be looking at to get the receipt number?

Aug 22, 2007 - Sent AOS Bill overnight (Used James Shortcut)

Aug 28, 2007 - NVC Received AOS Bill (Automated Voice message)

October 15, 2007 - NVC Received AOS and DS-230 Forms

October 24, 2007 - CASE Complete

November 2, 2007 - Case at Embassy

January 10, 2008 - Interview Date

January 10, 2008 - VISA APPROVED

Not sure about a specific spot, Jay, but look for a number starting with MSC.

I-130

2007-03-17: NOA1

2007-06-01: Approved

I-129F (K-3)

2007-03-26: NOA1

2007-06-01: Approved

2007-07-26: Interview at Consulate

2007-08-06: US Entry

AOS

2007-10-31: AOS NOA1

2008-04-04: Green Card received.

Removing conditions

2010-01-19: Filed I-751

2010-01-26: Check cashed

We just got our cashcheck. yeeeeeh!!!

But our number is hardly readable

we have to guess two numbers and while guessing i got signed in to somebody elses case, hahaha
