They asked for medical and Photo again

Hello guys, 

My wife had her Interview on January 10th 2017.  In Islamabad, Pakistan. Its been almost 11 months and we haven't received her visa.

Whenever we use to check the status, it was mentioned there 'Ready' . 

The beginning of this month, November, it changed to AP and then we received an email for a medical and passport size photo, eventhough we had submitted them at the interview. We had her medical again and submitted that 3 days before on 27th November.

My question to you guys is that, what will happen next? And how long do I have to wait more?

Some times they make mistakes or lose paper work. Hopefully she will get out of AP fast since they didn't ask for anything else. Good luck. Did you go to the interview with her ? Can you share some questions asked?  Thanks

Hi there and thank you for replying. I did not go with her to the interview.

Usually they asked about me, that who applied for you? Who is going to support you? Some pictures, they asked for more pics and my wife said, I dont have. Even though we had the entire album at home. They needed for than 6 pics. They also asked for the documents. They asked cross questions from documents. Towards the end they, said we are going to keep your passport and it will be return to you within 6 to 8 weeks and now its been almost 11 months. 

Are yiu having the interview as well?

How many times did you meet your wife before getting married ? did you attach a lot of proof of bonafide marriage with the application ?

 

Did your wife answered all questions properly ?

 

also does your wife has a very common name ?

 

Getting medical is a good sign i believe and also asking for photos. That could mean they will issue you Visa.

 

to answer your question: you can never know how long AP will last. It could be days, weeks, months, years.

Many time we net before getting married.

She did answer all the questions properly.

Maybe her name got a hit on their list ... is her last name common also ?

I am in Los Angeles also ... and going through Visa process for my wife.. at the NVC stage

 

try contacting your congressman and senator to inquire about your wife case ...

 

Before her interview, did you provided a lot of proof marriage with the documentation you sent ? or only few pictures... what did you send ?

Ok so I have talked to my Congressman and they received the same reply as me that the case is under AP.

Man, we submitted photos, marriage certificate. Another thing is that, we were just blessed with a baby boy 2 months before. and he became A US citizen through me. What else they need?

its a very good sign they want your medical again.... means they are about to issue visa i think

that's a good sign when your stats change and may be your medical expire as well your pics that's why they are asking you to submit and once you submit then they will issue your wife visa. Pics and medical is good for 6 months so you are almost there my friend and congrat...!!
