Our lawyer filed the i130 for us as well, not sure if he submitted i130A. My wife is USC petitioning for me. We both live in the USA

Just talked to my lawyer he confirmed that he did indeed include the i130a with the petition so I'm curious to know what additional evidence they are asking for is. Won't know for sure until letter comes in the mail hopefully sooner than later 😏

NVC receive Case on 27-04-2018

Request for an expedite 30-05-2018 with no nvc #case number or #invoice number
havent paid any fees yet.

Reason for expedite want son to be here soon before he turns to 21 and before his medical college starts!

Receive emaiL regarding NVC expedite request is under review on 02-05-2018.

Today Receive Case Number and invoice number in emaiL 05-05-2018 only a week after nvc receive our case.
Pivot Case Islamabad,Pakistan

They toLd me to directly pay fees now and submit documents electronically now!

I,ll update all when we move forward on!

Congrats! May I ask what evidence you submitted for your expedite request? My son also needs to be here before school starts in August.

When did you receive the update for RFE? Mine is April 30th and I haven't received the letter yet.

I received update May 2nd. Still nothing so far. Where are you located in the us or out of the country?

This is my take on the whole process Valentina.  You have thousands of petitions sent in every month and just like regular mail, not every petition arrives at the same time.  There's 2 lockbox and between those 2 lockboxes, those petitions get distributed between 3 main Service centers. Nebraska, Texas, and Potomac.  So maybe your petition arrived at Nebraska after someone else's that filed after you.  I don't think they process in any particular order.  I think they just have a stack that they work off of and whichever one is on top is the one they grab and maybe yours is at the bottom of that stack.  You just have to be patient and try to keep your mind off of waiting for your petition to be approve.  It's coming, just go fishing or something in the meantime.  Hope you get it soon.
