1. Do we need do send in the original letters(affidavit of support) from our parents or scanned copies will do?
2. Do the letters of support have to be notarized?
3. Is sending a copy of letter of support/affidavit provider's ID a good idea?

4. Is a prior withdrawal of k1 for same beneficiary after getting married instead of appearing for a second k1 interview OK? We married two months after beneficiary was told he was denied at the first interview. But we got another invitation to interview which was a surprise, we were no longer eligible for k1, so we withdrew the application. I didn't provide a reason for withdrawal and my request for withdrawal was accepted. Does it need to be explained on cover letter?

Aren't letter and affidavit the same thing unless they are notarized, what differentiates one from the other?
