Medical - Sealed envelope? Do they tell you the results?

Hey Everyone,

Was just wondering about the medical exam - in the packet 4 it says that the doctor will give you a sealed envelope with the medical report and it must remain sealed up until you have you interview. Does this mean they don't tell you the results of all the tests and keep it a secret until the interview? Or does the doctor go through it all with you at the appt and tell you that everything is ok/not ok? Doubt I'll have any issues but was curious of the process...

My doctor kept it sealed and it must be kept sealed. But at the appointment I asked "does everything look ok?" he said yes it's ok. So feel free to ask him or her how you are doing. Since you are paying so much for the appointment you might as well take all the info you can get!

The doctor did tell Andre's sister she failed the drug test.

I took my Medical last week here in Calgary, I asked the Doc How it Looked and he said fine, ( he said Good Luck On interview) I pick up My sealed package some time this week.

Typical Medical/ blood test/ Chest Xray, nothing out of the ordinary ( my Doc required two US Style Passport Pictures & $260 Cash)

Nothing to worry about, Good Luck..

Now Waiting for Montreal Processing time again... they say 10 Days turn around ..

But when I called June 28/07 they said that there is a 2 week Back mail delay..

MY MY God !!!

July 16, 2007 Montreals says Visa Being printed tommorrow..

Visa Received : July 19,2007

US Entry : Aug 29/07

Cool, thanks everyone. I hoped they'd tell you the results but when it said about the super-secret sealed envelope I didn't know if maybe it was all confidential o something. I have my medical booked for tomorrow afternoon so hopefully all goes well.

Colin - too bad yours was so pricey - mine is only $190 in Toronto
