I'm filing for my mother to come to USA. I am a US citizen and have a US passport.

However, form I-130, to file for a relative to come to USA, there is a question asking if you are a US citizen. I clicked Yes, by naturalization. Other options are  birth in US and Parents.

Next question is asking have you obtained certificate of naturalization of citizenship. I clicked Yes. But at the moment, I cannot find the certificate.

Do you think it is possible to just send them copy of my US passport and write a message that I cannot locate my certificate of citizenship at the moment and I am sending copy  of US passport to show I am a US citizen?
