Has anyone recently received a Packet 3 from Mumbai Embassy? My case was transfered to the embassy couple of weeks ago and my wife still hasn't received any information from the embassy. I am not the only one who is still waiting for packet 3 to arrive. I have a friend who has been waiting since middle of march for a Packet 3 and still no information from the embassy on case status. He tried contacting the embassy but his emails are not deliverable and cannot get anyone on phone.

Anyone has any information please post here.

Hello! There are a lot of people with experience in the South Asia forum, try posting there! :thumbs: Things get buried tooooo fast in the general forums! :yes:

The Consulates in India can be really slow in getting the packets out. The Consulate sent in email to me (replying to mine) saying they sent out our Packet 4 on Feb 28, but we received it only on March 15.

Good luck in getting your packet FAST!

Dec 6, 2010: Passport Arrives
Dec 7, 2010: Sent for Indian Passport Surrender Certificate
Dec 27, 2010: Surrender Certificate Arrives
Jan 3, 2011: Sent for Overseas Citizenship of India Card
March 1, 2011: Received OCI card!

Divorce

Feb 2015:​ Found out he was cheating (prostitutes / escorts)
