K1 visa approved, but how long for delivery?

Hello!

 

Our k1 visa was approved on November 28th. :D

Does anyone know how long it takes for the Rio de Janeiro consulate to issue/finish processing the k1 visa + shipping? We want to be home for Christmas, but we don't want to buy our ticket too early if the passport hasn't come in the mail.

I don't have experience for Rio but it took us 1-2 weeks to have it back and ready to go.

will depend on the state, the further away from Rio de Janeiro, the longer the delivery will be.
