Hello all,

 

Thank you all in advance for your replies.

My wife who is permanent resident has been oversea with 2 yr re-entry permit which will expire soon.

We are planning to re-apply for a new visa and here is my question.

Can I apply for her and have her come to the US only for the biometrics or does she have to be physically in the US at the time of submitting application?

I was guessing that it should be OK as long as she is in the US for the Biometrics however someone told me otherwise.
