I'm not going to send a Merry Christmas card to my Jewish friends. The President represents the whole country and the whole country doesn't celebrate Christmas. 

 

Happy Holidays is more appropriate for a representative of such a diverse group of people.

How do any of us know that he isn't sending holiday cards to people of other faiths for their holidays?  I bet he is.

 

Is there something inherently wrong with someone sending Christmas cards to other people celebrating Christmas?

Maybe I don't understand what the card is...

 

They debuted their "Holiday Card" which is wishing "Americans a Merry Christmas"....

 

This wasn't a card specifically for their friends who are Christians. This seems like a universal seasonal card directed towards "Americans"...despite the fact that many many Americans don't celebrate that holiday.

I wouldn't send a card wishing ALL AMERICANS a Merry Christmas. 

 

I wouldn't be so dense to assume that because I celebrate everyone else does.
