Did I say that Obama put Merry Christmas on a Christmas card? Nope

 

He continued to wish people Merry Christmas through other mediums.

 

You are right though from a previous post - We are essentially arguing about two different things. We are going off the thread title, which is typically considered the "topic" of the thread. Since the thread was incorrectly titled, and you can't go back and edit your mistake at this point, there are two discussions:

 

1. Did Trump 'Bring Merry Christmas back to the White House' - No he didn't

2. Did Trump 'Bring Merry Christmas back to the White House Holiday Card' - Yes obviously he did

 

His campaign promise, and what he has repeated countless times is the former, not the latter. 

 

If you want a great example of people getting upset over nothing - Consider getting upset over a silly card. How sensitive do you have to be to be bothered by "Happy Holidays"? The people who get triggered about this subject are the people who are so afraid of Christmas somehow being "taken away". It's going to be okay, you don't have to worry. You never did.

The thread wasn't titled incorrectly.  I was told by a mod in another thread that the thread title has to much the article title.  I was simply following mod orders.  I did not make a mistake.  

 

He promised to bring Christmas back to the White House.  So according to you, he fulfilled that promise since it never really left, except for the Christmas card, right?  Well, now it is back on the Christmas card.  Christmas is back!

 

I'm not bothered by a Happy Holidays card at all.  It seems some people are certainly bothered by there not being a Happy Holidays card though.

You guys sure seem to be getting pretty upset about there not being a Happy Holidays card this year.  I see some people happy that Christmas is back on the Christmas card and some people who are upset about that.

We aren't bothered by a Christmas or Holiday Card...

 

We are bothered by the fact that other people think this is a big deal and think that "Christmas is back" when it didn't go anyway except off of a silly card.

 

Also - You can backpeddle as much as you want but the fact remains, since you can't edit it, that the title of the thread DOES NOT match the content in your post. "Bringing Merry Christmas back to the White House" is not the same thing as bringing it back onto a Holiday Card. The White House is a physical building. Christmas was always there.

Ya I don't think you know what "upset" means I guess...

 

The people who are upset are those who loved that Trump said he would "Bring back Christmas" as if it was stolen from them. Those of us who celebrate Christmas but didn't mind the holiday card, still don't mind the Christmas card. It's just a freakin card. At the end of the day the President has always been a Christian and has always celebrated Christmas. We realize, rightly so, that Christmas was never under threat and was never going anywhere. It will continue to never go anywhere.

I like cranberry and assumed it was turkey?
