The question is more directed at those with the 6 month TB wait, but maybe after the medical it is still the same. They said we have to wait 2 weeks for her medical result. That puts us at Dec 13. The only interview dates available in December after that are 14 and 15. The lady there told her not to have interview dates close to the result date. I have seen where people did things differently and were okay as sometimes what they say isn't always on point. Would we not be okay with picking the 15?

This all depends on the medical office that you went to. If they're advising you to not book an appointment that close, listen to them. Schedule for January. Things can happen that create delays, and its likely that they won't take any liability if they mess up. And plus, if your medical is not prepared on time, you lose your appointment and the fees that go with it. I dont know if they would let you reschedule at that point.

Doing the 15th would be risky IMO. Not impossible. If this were the initial medical, I would say it's fine as they give you the results to hand deliver at USEM. But for TB, I think they send it themselves and that has a lag. If that's what SLEC is saying, then I would believe them.

If you don't have the medical results at the time of the interview, you will either 1) Be turned away at USEM and required to reschedule the interview, or 2) be issued a 221g ("soft" refusal) pending a clean medical.
