Proma,

My wife has the same challenge.  Her GC is her new family name and passport has old maiden name.

So, what we are doing is this:  We combine the last names together.  Example like it would read on an airline ticket:  smithjones/amanda

We have traveled out of the country a few times and this works. Now, we are pending AOS and then apply for citizenship and then we will no longer use her maiden name at all.

That is exactly like my wife.

Fake names

Her passport reads:  Smith - her maiden name

Her GC reads:  Jones - her new married family name

Just book the ticket to reflect both names to be on the ticket...run them together, or put a space between them

It won't be a problem if you do this......we just traveled to the Dominican Republic in July and returned from Ukraine 2 weeks ago.

Book your tickets in passport name. Tickets must match the name in the passport. Bring your marriage certificate to show the name change on the green card.  It happens all the time you should have no issues.

Yes your marriage certificate will show the link between your passport and GC. Just match your tickets to match the passport a must to get on the plane.

i dont have time its emergency / After i came back usa i will change my passport last name

I’m sure it’s different for every country but I got a passport at my embassy one time the same day. You just go with all the documents and get it done. You can try asking for emergency passports at your embassy, they always have that option too. That way you have peace of mind.

Immigration does not stop you from traveling it will be the airlines who will stop you if your ticket and passport don't match. To return to the US you need your marriage certificate to match your GC and Passport. They will not give you a hard time you can leave and come back.
