So I am planning to move in with my fiance via k1 visa. He's American and I am Canadian. 

I am having difficulties finding information on how I should do with my home in Ontario.

What are some things I have to consider if I decide to keep my home in Canada?

Not really an immigration issue but the obvious answer is you can do whatever you want with it. Rent, Sell, turn it into a BnB. Many people live in one country and have property in another. Maintaining upkeep and taxes, of course.

You can do whatever you want.

if you rent it out you will have to report income, expenses (including depreciation over 40 yrs using ADS method). That almost always produces a loss deductible up to $25k, if you are below $150k AGI and somehow involved in the business.

It is also subject to taxation in Canada, since it’s Canadian-sourced income.
