typed or written. does it matter?

Ive read on here somewhere that the forms should be downloaded and then you type in the blanks. Id like to do that but im not very computer savvy. It comes up in acrobat reader and says im missing a plug-in to run the application. Is there anyway to get it to come up on another program or can i just print the forms and write in the blanks? is that frowned upon or anything? thanks.

You can download a trial version of Adobe Acrobat Pro 7 from my signature. If you have any problems with the forms on the USCIS website, which have had the odd hiccup over the past months, you can use the forms from http://www.visapro.com/INS-Forms-Download.asp They are usually the most recent in accordance with the USCIS forms but just double check.

Make sure you dont use the Example forms in the link here on VJ.

It is also acceptable to complete them by hand....though that is a lot of writing with the G-325A.

I typed mine and Claudeth hand-wrote her's. Both were accepted!

We wrote all of ours. It gives you a chance to remember all of the things that you fill out on the form.

I hand wrote all of mine, unless we had to add an extra sheet to answer a question (like work history, etc), the extra sheets were typed out.
