Confused about timeline between medical and interview?

We expect to receive our NOA2 the first week in January.  I get that it'll take several weeks to a month to set up and attend the medical at St. Lukes.

But what happens next?  What's the timeline from finishing the medical (assuming no TB issues) to the consulate interview?

I take it that if she is from Cebu then there will be two trips to Manila.

Thanks

Are you still having issue reaching  visaconnection-philippines.com  ?    Everything is laid out for you there.

Medical at St. Luke's takes two days (normally), first come, first served  ...  you can complete the interview within a few days of that (if you have no TB issues).   There have been a few lately that were done with the interview within a month of receiving their MNL # .. but they were not letting any grass grow under their feet.  ;)      Your fiancee will hand carry her medical records to USEM for the interview, so you could, very possibly, complete all within a few days of each other... one trip to Manila

Only thing that takes about a month is after the NOA2, approval notice, and then receiving the MNL# from NVC.

Don't forget the CFO can't leave the Philippines with out it.  They have an office in Cebu. My fiancée did hers already they are booking about a month out in Manila.  The K1 visa is the ONLY visa that can do the CFO without the visa in hand (if she has kids she can do it now but the kids have to wait until the visa is issued).  She will need to return to the CFO to get the actual sticker placed in her passport after the vis has been placed in the passport.   All the registry is done online, it will explain what she needs to bring with her.

Thank you both.

FI Guy.  Yes, we knew about the CFO, do you have any idea how far out they are booking in Cebu?

Hank:  I’m sending my fiancée with her Aunt, so it’s airfare x 2.  I’m wondering if attempting to do the medical then as soon as possible doing the interview works, rather than two round trip flights for 2 people.

Here’s a hypothetical case, assuming no med issues.

Arrive Monday in Manila with medical scheduled Tues/Wed (is it possible to schedule the days the applicant wants?).  What then is the process to get an appointment for the interview?  Would it be possible to have them wait, staying in a hotel, hoping for a Friday interview, or even the following Monday?   Even 5 or six days food  and lodging for two is probably better than a return to Cebu, and then go back to Manila a week or two later.

I’ve looked and it’s probably her someplace but I cannot find the “how to schedule an interview” process once the medical is done.

You choose the days for the medical, no scheduling with SLEC.  No holidays or weekends of course.

complete the pre-registration online at the SLEC website.

Once you get your MNL # pay the visa fee at BPI, about 24 hours after that (not counting weekends or holidays) go online to setup your account and schedule your interview.  Complete the DS-160.  Plan the medical accordingly after that.

Thank you. Yes, I'm still dead-ending with your sub-links to 403 errors.  I'll send you a PM with details, perhaps it's my computer.

Cebu is not that busy. I am not sure what the timeline is but it's a far better shot at an "early" appointment the Manila. A few years back my wife did her med on Monday and interview on Friday. We would have done the interview earlier but I had a K2 that we had to wait 3 days for results. Everything worked out fine for us.
