While filling the visit visa fee page the page won’t accept my parents receipt number; also what is MRV RECEIPT number? Is it the same number as the application recipet number?

And also one more thing we filled their visit visa forms and now filling for their fee thats the correct process right? And now it say we will get a interview date.  I think i got everything right ; but it just wont accept the receipt number so they can’t pay the fee yet.

In the attachments below this is the page i get when i put the receipt number.

I had the similar problem when I was paying for my tourist visa via debit card. After payment there was an error and no confirmation site that should have the info about the MRV payment receipt number. Did you successfully paid for the visa and money are collected from your account?  If yes contact them through that site you are logged via feedback option on the left.

That’s what I did and they updated the info in 1 day and I was able to schedule an interview without putting any additional info about payment receipt.

Receipt number (confirmation of your payment) is a different number then your visa application number you got after filling the DS-160 form.

It happened with me twice. Embassy told me to wait for at least 24 hrs after the payment. Once 24 hrs passed, I did not have any issues.

you fill the application if you did not already, then you will print the confirmation page...In Egypt, I needed to take the confirmation page to the bank the embassy is deal with and paid the money and got a receipt with the MRV number. At the beginning it said it is not valid, called the embassy, said to wait. Next day was no issue and scheduled their interview
