My fiancé just had his medical at Knightsbridge and I am furious. He was missing one tetanus shot and the nurse refused to give it to him and told him to go to his GP.

He was in the military and got out approximately a week ago so he does not have a GP.

I have no idea now if he can even get that vaccine in the UK and it will be valid for the AOS form.

Can anyone please help me?

Other than that, he said everyone was absolutely wonderful with the exception of the nurse who was rude and very short with him.

Don’t fret, vaccinations aren’t a must for K1 but for AOS. If you have an incomplete on the DS-3025, you can search for the nearest USCIS civil surgeon in your area(when he arrives in the US). He doesn’t need to do another medical exam but just ask for the civil surgeon to transcribe Form DS-3025 (copy of vaccinations) to Form I-639. If he lacks a vaccine, the civil surgeon will give it to him for a fee. I was reading through the AOS requirements and it says to submit Form DS-3025 or Form I-639.

I am praying for you all still waiting for NVC#. I have a question....my princess passed her interview in Manila, Philippines last Thursday. We are waiting for visa in hand. However, I want to book a flight to the USA and need her Visa number. Do you think that number is different than here MNL#? I also have an A-123456 number too. Either one the visa number? Please don't guess. Only answer is you absolutely know. Thanks you guys.

Case tracker still showing "In Transit" since last Thursday Jan 25th.

@aviator99

Has yours updated yet?

You read my mind! I was actually thinking about you today and came on here a few mins ago to private message you asking the exact same thing! Still the same for us too... just "In Transit"... Ughhh. What's weird is that NVC said they sent everything electronically so I thought it would've been a business day or two.

Did you get an email from them saying your case was expedited as well? I thought that would help move things along but it seems we're all still waiting... not sure what's up with Canada when all other countries seem to me moving along fast, people already having interviews and all.... while we're still waiting for to arrive at the embasssy, sigh... :(

My fiancé got the email about it being expedited, apparently they do that for all K1s. And yeah, I thought they would pretty much get it instantly since it's electronic. I even checked the weather in Montreal to see if they're getting lots of snow, but doesn't look like it.

And they're not under any holidays at this time, either. Two things crossed my mind which were:

1. "In Transit" simply means that it's there, but no officer has opened the case/file yet. Till they do that and switch the case to "Received", or process it and mark it "Ready"... it'll just stay in the In Transit mode until someones looked at it.

2. "In Transit" means they might actually be processing it...and when they're done and ready for you to send packet 3, that's when they'll update the CEAC site and it'll just be "Ready" at that point.

Maybe i'm dreaming...all speculation of course.

Possibly. I read that it turns into Ready when they open it, but you still have to give a few days for them to log it before sending P3. But maybe they changed the protocol to prevent people from sending P3 prematurely? Who knows.. Wishful thinking.

I read the same. My plan is to send them P3 the day it turns Ready, just for the heck of it, cause i'm not sure which is right. Like you I also read give it a couple days until the "last updated" date changes again. Cause i've seen other timelines on here where people sent it same day or next day, and within 24-48 hours received P4 from them, even when it was just marked to Ready. Other's did that and received no P4, sent again, no P4, eventually the date had updated on the CEAC site again and they sent P3 at that time and got P4 back right away.

Wishful thinking, so true.

Yeah I plan to just send P3 as soon as it's ready. Hope to hear some good news from you soon.
