Dear ..... (me)

“A couple of things, first of all I did call the California Service Center where your Fiancé’s file is at.  They said that they are backed logged about 30 days due to the increase of volume.   (they have had a tremendous about of applications with the DACA issue)

The process (as they explained it) is they were able to process it early and then once the application was approved it then needs to go to another department.... etc

30 days! Lol! Most of us have been waiting 60!

So everything is backlogged due to that issue ? Or is that DACA applicants ?

More workers are allocated to to DACA, less to all others

So i followed advice from user and remove scam block from my phone and actually got a call back within 1 minute as i called early this morning. Talked to a tier 2 and they said since i submitted an inquiry i have to wait the 30 days. after alot of back and forth i got no where. It is time to become the squeeky wheel and continue to request call backs until i get an officer that can give me some light. NOA2 Nov14  i sent nvc research inquiry with uscis and csc. still no one can give me an answer. everythings is that i just have to wait

Man!!!! Not the best news! Yeah we found out tier 2 officers don't really know what to say or have no indication on current issues after petitions are approved.

Spoke to NVC again this morning. The lady was very nice. She insisted that NVC are getting numerous amounts of calls with regards to November NOA2 approvals snd that the NVC are fully aware that these cases should be with them by now and they are conducting their own investigation into where and why these cases are not being mailed or updated to them in a normal processing manner . She actually told me, even though we have NVC research conducting our own enquiry that everyone should call at least once a day to twice a day to see if it arrived.

As things work out I called USCIS this morning around 8:30am (Pacific time) and they just called me back .

Got the chance to ask them when it was mailed out and they said January 5th.

So I guess a good timeline for other fellow filers..

NOA2 - 11/20/2017

USCIS sent out - 01/05/18

NVC received - 01/11-18

Now waiting for the number..

Congrats. I still don’t understand what the 4-5 weeks is for since they really don’t do anything there.

My fiancé called yesterday to NVC and they told him to call USCIS cause they haven't received our case yet, then he called USCIS to ask about our case and they told him a Tier2 would return the call....

Two hours later they called him and told him our case was sent to NVC on 1.8.2017 and we should wait up to 2 weeks to hear something from them.

I’d love to know why USCIS tier 2 officer couldn’t tell us when our case was sent . They said they would have to contact csc and find out and wait unti 24 jan for any response

I don't know either, last week they told us to wait up to 90 days since approval, yesterday they said that...

I hope its true and my case is on its way to NVC or waiting for someone to pick it up and give it a number.
