A Nov 22 case has touched NVC according to the spreadsheet. I’m gonna wait til 7pm just to be on the safe side because of the daily mail run to call and find out. Here’s hoping.

How long did it take people to get the "in transit" notice online usually? Been waiting 6 days now and it still says "at NVC", but as far as I understand once the number is assigned it gets sent to the embassy, right? C'mon NVC. So ready to be done with this.

(Ok, 3 days since the number was assigned, but still... The patience is not strong in this one anymore.)

In ancient times I heard it took a week. These days where everything takes longer, I'm not sure.

Also how often did you contact NVC before you they say they got your case?

OK just a quick update, NVC spoke to my fiancé,  They said USCIS had sadly held onto a large number of k1 approvals in OCT / NOV / DEC and NVC have been informed that USCIS are now slowly mailing them out. He said NVC have been chasing around for months to see why they are not sending them but now they have released them for shipping.

I contacted them once every single (working) day from two weeks in after NOA2 approval. Sounds crazy now, but I am sure lots of people can relate here.

Every single day!?! Really?

No wonder you were NOA2 after me, but got approved before me. They were like "we need to get rid of this guy" :jest:
