Tried to call USCIS today. I'm the beneficiary. The respond that I got "this is related to petition, only petitioner can speak to us"     :bonk:

DISCLAIMER: I'm not working with USCIS/NVC and never work with them. All my comment based on my own experience and what I read.

Hi everyone,

My petition was approved on November 27th. Yesterday, I emailed CSC and got a reply back, also yesterday, saying that they no longer have jurisdiction over my petition, that it was mailed out and that I should contact NVC for further help. So i guess i'll be calling them tonight.

Was it something like this ? ....

On 01/03/2018, you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your I129F to notify us that you were requesting an  review of your case. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

What We Have Done

This case was approved on 11/22/2017 and notification was mailed to the address of record on 11/24/2017.

Once an initial I-129F petition has been approved by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, it is forwarded to the National Visa Center, which is an entity of the State Department.  The State Department controls visa issuance.  Once with the State Department, USCIS no longer has jurisdiction or access to the petition.

No, here's the specific language they used:

"The California Service Center no longer has jurisdiction over your petition, which was approved November 27, 2017, and is currently in transit to the U.S. Department of State, Consular Section, for K-1 visa processing.

Please send all further correspondence to the following mailing address:

National Visa Center

.....(mailing address)

You may also contact the NVC via their direct helpline by calling (603) 334-0700.

Respectfully,

Officer TX 0449

USCIS California Service Center"

That's it.

Yeah, that's something, I guess haha I only wish he also included the date they sent it out. It might've been yesterday or last week. Anyway, I'll be calling NVC tonight.

we have also received this....

Dear Sir/Madam:

The National Visa Center received your inquiry and the attached I-797 Notice of Action - Approval Notice. Unfortunately we do not have a record of receiving your approved petition from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

NVC will work with USCIS to determine the location of your petition. We will let you know when we have more information. You do not need to take any action at this time. Thank you for your patience as we work with USCIS to ensure your case is moving forward.
