Yeah we just got some guy who didn’t understand the case number , then asked for social security number and names instead and then read back the same case number we had told him 5 mins before haha , then he said I’ll have to request this information from CSC so I’ll put in a request for you

Lol yep! Well I had that with some NVC people too. I did call yesterday (long shot that it was received but figured what the heck)...the NVC guy told me yesterday "Oh wow, it's been more than 6 weeks and we havent received it, you need to send an email to NVCresearch blah blah"). I said I did. I said the thing is, USCIS just mailed it a few days ago on Friday. Then the NVC guy said.. "Oh, they just mailed it? I thought you said they sent it Nov 21st?". I said NO, Nov 21st is when the case was approved, USCIS JUST shipped it Friday 01/05. He said "Oh I see, so it's 6 weeks from 01/05...we can't do anything for you until middle of February, thats probably why nobody responded to your NVCResearch email".

I just was thinking...yeah okay. He was clueless. It's 6 weeks from NOA2, that's what the other 100 NVC employees I talked to in the last 6 weeks have told me. This guy was the only guy to say something different. Maybe he got confused I don't know. But either way...like in any job, you have people that just...dont get it, lol.

Lol! Wow! I mean it’s not Nvc fault , it’s just backlogged I know, but if they put on the noa2 “please wait 8 weeks for us to mail the documents to Nvc” I’d be chilled . But they didn’t haha . Here’s hoping ours is in the same mail as yours as we are only a day behind you haha

Also 30 days from when they ship it!!!! How long is this wait gonna be? It’s just dragging on forever ! And forever ! It’s like an endless battle , “please wait 6 months “ then please wait 4 weeks lol, then please wait 6 weeks , then 8 weeks , then 30 days then 90 days! Hahaha they don’t have a clue

I know...what a nightmare. My fiance was video calling on my cell phone at the time and heard the officer say 30 days. That just crushed her. After I hungup with USCIS my fiance was already thinking wow...we were supposed to have htis all done by now and now another 30 days just till it arrives at NVC? I said No Way, don't believe what the officer said. Look, they're going to tell you 30 days to keep you from bugging them and the NVC. The google docs case tracker on visa journey has people Mid-November NOA2's getting approved. Theres no service in America that takes 30 days to ship. Impossible. I said give it till late this week or next week and it should be there.

She's always been so hopeful, optimistic, excited...but the last month she's really gotten so frustrated, impatient, tired, pessimistic...expecting the worst delays and mentioning who knows, probably won't be together for another few months. And of course, that makes me sad seeing her go through that and affects me as well. Just so hard for the both of us right now. And there's nothing anyone can do about it. But wait. And wait. And wait. For really? No freaking real good reason.

I feel ya! I’m asking my fiancé to call all the time and request things as being abroad is hard and we can’t call or do anything either due to time zones . Or not being the citizen etc. Also my fiancé bought a puppy and I’m missing out lol! So my life is a mess! Just waiting and waiting , we have every piece of paper for the next stage after Nvc case number etc so it’s boring just waiting and waiting and we have the joys of a brand new embassy opening in London next week so here’s to more delays and lost mail and stress I’m sure !

FOR THOSE WHO KNOW THEIR NOA2 SHIP DATE TO NVC

could you please @ me?

Im looking for trends on when they send their shipments because I do know they send in bulk.

So based on when USCIS told you it was sent and based on when NVC said it should be there, maybe we can determine a rough estimate for when they ship?..

ie: approvals 1st through 14th get shipped on the 15th and 15th to the end of the month get shipped the 1st of the following month...

I hope so, sigh :( Best of luck to you guys, I always tell my fiance we are never alone in this and so many people are going through the same frustrations, emotions, delays, etc. I know we are getting closer and closer now though, we all are, just hang in there :(

Yeah we are definitely not alone! I saw my friend go thru it all a year ago and it nearly broke him! Tell your fiancé she is not alone , there are hundreds of lonely people waiting and waiting in Separate countries to be re United ! We will get there ! Just hate the not knowing ! And then the dreadful thing is what happens if it all fails! That’s the worst scenario !

So, I just got off the phone with NVC. They don’t have anything yet. Big news. I asked him him why it was taking so long to get it there and he was actually nice and explained that for some unknown reason to him USCIS is taking way longer to send out files from October on, he literally said USCIS approved them and they just sat there without being touched until someone felt like sending them. He said USCIS ships files to NVC in bulks and it could be literally thousands of cases sitting in one shipment that just sat there for no reason. Thanks a lot, USCIS. Since he was nice I kept asking questions and I asked him how much longer once they receive the files from USCIS and he said no more than a couple of days for K1 files and after a case number is issued NVC sends out both a hard copy via mail and an electronic copy to each embassy. He was very nice about my being inpatient and anxious about waiting and he said he was sorry it was taking so long but honestly there isn’t anything else to do but sit and wait. I asked him if he knew which files were now getting to NVC but he said he didn’t know. I feel better knowing that at least it’s gonna get moving once it gets there.

"Good" news...NVC FINALLY received our packet today!!!

NO2 date 11/16/2017. 53 days from approval to receipt.

Fingers crossed the rest of this will go quickly and everyone else will get theirs soon as well! We obviously know how hard this is and wish everyone the best of luck!

Nov 17 NOA2. Emailed nvcresearch Jan 2. NVC replied on Jan 8. Found out our case is still at CSC. I don't understand why uscis is still working on our petition knowing were already approved. tsk
