Another day, another frustrating 24 hours. When will this end?!?!?

Have you asked USCIS the date the physically mailed it to USCIS?

Im so sorry for the frustration.😔

This is definitely a difficult process.

I’ve lost my patience with USCIS. Someone else from the same date said they called and these dates were just mailed out so I’ll give it another few days.

Things will pick up.

Holidays are over. Everyone is back from holiday and things will get back to normal.

This is my current status at NVC... but I didn't get anything from them regarding an interview date.  Is this normal?

Depends on your country.

In the U.K. you would book your medical and embassy appointment at this point.

After submitting the DS160, do that asap

Even before it's "Ready"?  I submitted the DS160 but the system won't let me print a payment receipt and thus not schedule an interview.  Do I have to call NVC or is it an embassy issue?

Ive no clue for your country but if you go to the home page on visa journey, all the way at the bottom are forums for each country🙂

It says your case is on the way to the US Embassy. When the US Embassy receives your case, they will send you or your petitioner an email for the Packet 3 ( includes the needed documents that you need to bring) and your interview date.

My I797 Notice of action, May 11-17-2017, says it forwarded my petition to the consulate. I called NVC center which told me they do not have my notice and to contact USCIS. I contacted USCIS with no real help to be found.

Did everyone else's notice say the same as mine? Or did it say it was being forwarded to NVC?

Would make less stress and phone calls if they had an online checking system. Maybe I should get a job there to invent this system and save everyone (including myself ) a lot of time off the phone and less time worrying if it’s lost in the mail or collecting dust in the office . Don’t worry we got our NOA2 Nov 22 and we asked USCIS to give us a date and they said “ your petetion was approved and once it is approved USCIS have no more to do with it and it’s in Nvc hands. We call Nvc they say ask USCIS for a mailing date to give you a time frame on the mailing . So we are being thrown between the two departments in a wild goose chase ! But I feel your stress!

Hi,

So she said she answered "Do not intend" because no specific contribution will be made since they will be staying together. And if you answer "Do not Intend, you don't have to give an explanation. That the question doesn't really pertain to K1 visas.
