I got the informed delivery notification on mine

Did you get your case number yet? That's so fast! NOA2 December 8 right?

Yes! I've no idea how. The case says ready at the embassy so we're just waiting for the embassy to contact us. Tunis can take a long time on that sometimes so hopefully not too long.

It looks like November 15 is making its way to NVC today. Yay

For real!!!! Our case was approved on November 15, but until this day I haven't received anything yet from NVC,it gets so frustrating. Waited 6 months for NOA2 now we have to wait this long again for NVC while when you check some people timeline NVC got their case like 5 days or less after case approval.😏😔😔

Called last night and they had my case number ready! Thanks for the tip!  So now we wait for the embassy to receive it?

Yeah, and you can check the status online at https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx

Usually it takes around a week to transfer your case to the embassy. I would also start collecting the required information and complete the DS 160. Hope that helps!

Hello friends! Does anyone have "ready" status after getting NVC case number? We are still "in transit" status. NOA2 approval Nov. 1st. Thank you and good luck guys!

You guys are lucky that you can choose your interview date. Here in Kuwait, the Embassy will give us a date usually a month after they receive our case.

All this waiting is somewhat a blessing for me, my fiancé said it’s -24 degrees Celsius during the Holidays in Indiana where his parents live. So I got spared from turning into an icicle. :D I’m not a fan of the cold understandably coz I’m from a tropical country.

Just called nvc and recording said they are closed?

Is this due to weather?

Yeah, there’s a blizzard warning in New Hampshire where NVC is located and 12 inches of snowfall for the next 48 hours. I think they will go back to work on Monday.
