I called last night and they told me the NVC received it yesterday. The result from the Search Above says "At NVC" just like heartinKorea stated. The Operator said I would get an EMail and a Letter confirming it. I hope they forward our Packet to the Tokyo Embassy within a week like BnE experienced. 

Did they give you your nvc case number when you called last night?

 

Otherwise, how did you do a check without the nvc number?

I'm guessing we stay in limbo until they make the number. I'll plan to call them after some weeks pass and see if they received my case from USCIS.

I called NVC earlier today and I was told they haven't received my case yet, so I decided to call USCIS hoping to speak to a Tier 1 or 2 representative. They customer service representative without me even asking (Thank God) transferred to me to a Tier representative (not sure whether it is 1 or 2) and the representative stated that since I was approved Nov 4th NVC should have received my case but when she checked she saw they did not mail it out the case yet. She then created a service request that it should be mailed out immediately and said it should take about 2 weeks to get to the NVC.

 

Just wanted to give an update to those within the same time frame of approvals as mine to try calling USCIS to ask if the case as being mailed out, hopefully it has and if not I am sure a service request can be generated to be sent out immediately.

 

Will call USCIS again tomorrow or Friday to see if it has been mailed out - praying to hear good news.

We tried calling to the USCIS a couple of times and it has always been very frustating! We get standard answer that it can take up to 90 days.

 

Do you remeber which options you used (numbers to be pressed) when you called? I wonder if it makes any difference to try to talk to someone that knows what we are talking about...

 

Our NOA2 is same date as yours! I hope you get your NVC case number soon!!

Wow we have same date nvc dec 20 and same country of benificiary which is Ph but our status still "at nvc" Do you received already an instruction letter from nvc? Do I need to submit my DS 160 to make this process quick from nvc to USEM?

Called NVC again. Almost 6 weeks and nothing. The lady said to call USCIS and ask when it was mailed to them. If only she knew how hard it is to get that information.

You need to talk to someone at USCIS to verify if the approval was sent or not. They need to submit a service request for you. Just call the number for customer service and ask them to transfer you to tier 2 officer. I had to call many times to get help, so keep trying.

Should be very soon!!! Ours was sent on December 19th and have gotten case number today finally!!!!

I filled it out but I haven't submitted it yet. I will when I get packet 3. But I've read it depends on your embassy!
