Hello :) we applied in March of 2015, NOA1 April, and NOA2 November 1st 2017. Interview date Feb 22nd of 2018. It was a long wait. It's finance visa.

Why so long😱.  I guess you had to extend  the case right? As for example I applied in May 2017 , got approved November 2017. Now I have no news,  I just know my case expires in a month, so I will have to extend it, and I don't know how.

Wow, that's quite fast. I have been waiting for 9 moths, my last update was in November, saying I was approved.

Is this okay?

And more question, are you married to a USA citizen, or just engaged.

Thanks,

Well, previously /a year ago/this process would take us 6 months. I Am engaged to a US citizen. A question: At what stage are you? I mean if you got your NOA2? Did your case reach NVC? Did they assign a NVC number?

We contacted the USCIS they told us that our case is on its way to NVC

No, we haven't expanded the case. We just made several inquiries. And the reason was- first the security check took long, then they requested RFE. But finally we are done! Did you try calling NVC? May be USCIS sent your case to a wrong place. You should check! Call both USCIS and NVC and try to talk to another officer.

You should send them an official enquiry. It shouldn’t take so long! Your case should have reached NVC within 4-6 weeks after approval. How long has it been on its way? Buzz hem constantly cause your case can be left on somebody’s table.

Ahh got it. I reacently contacted the NVC, they said my case is on its way to NVC.

How was the interview? Did you take pictures, chats, calls of you and your fionce with you, as an evidence.

Call them every day..call USCIS as well. The interview was the easiest part for me. I took pics, viber and fb chat, my fiance's plane tickets, passport stamps as evidence. The officer asked simple questions and was very polite and respectful.

More than 3 months has passed after approval.

That’s sad!! Call them on a daily basis! They have nothing to do with ur case after approval at USCIS, at NVC they do security checks one more time. So I guess your case has stuck somewhere.

I see you've been waiting such a long time! Soon you'll have your interview and be on your way. Yay for you!!  :D

The NVC's part is finished now, you don't send anything to them.  Check your embassy's website and see if they send packet 3 and 4 out.  Every embassy is different so you have to follow the instructions of your specific embassy. You could try emailing the embassy and ask but I don't know if they will answer you. Do check their website first, and then you could check this thread to see what others from your country are saying about their experience.

I'm so excited for you, things are finally going to start happening!  Let us know when you book your appointment!

Good luck!!!  :)

Visa Approved !

02/23/2018

they kept my passport and gave white slip and informed me my passport will be delivered within 7-10 days

But my case is at NVC and it says it is under AP.

Any one had similar issue or does everyone goes thru AP before passport is delivered ?

Everyone goes through AP in India for a few days. It will now change to issued and then it will take 3-4 days. What does the date created say? Date created will change to current date before your status will change to “issued”.
