Yep.  Same response as usual.  Still not in the system :(

UGH. I just called and tried to speak with a supervisor at NVC. The rep just put me on hold for 10 minutes and then just said "oh sorry no one can talk to you".

I literally just want a real answer about how long it takes them to receive the petitions once they're mailed! He was like "Oh that's the postal service so.. we can't answer that..." and I said "So you're telling me that USCIS just sends them via USPS. There's not a special service they use?" and he said "umm.. uhhh.. idk".

I'm trying not to be obsessed but this is insane.

The fact they so obviously try not to tell us anything is honestly the worst part of this

Did anyone else try calling NVC today?

Yes ,

now they like to ask me , " can you please tell me what the first paragraph of your letter says "

we might mail your approval, we may not , please be advised we will say normal time is 4-6 weeks and if we exceed 6 weeks we will just add more weeks at our discretion oh and there is nothing you can do about it.

do they not log your inquiry ?

Happy Holidays good luck everyone

That's so shitty I'm so sorry. Especially since I saw someone else with your NOA2 date who got their case number already...

I ‘think’ they ask what the first paragraph states in the letter because some NOA2s state that their approval has been sent directly to the consulate for interview, and not the NVC? Although I’ve not heard of anyone actually bypassing the NVC yet, but it may indicate something to them.

Did the call handler say anything else to you?

Mine says that, I did a search here and apparently it's standard language

Sure. Some of them do say that, but a majority say that they’ve been sent to the NVC

She was trying to be helpful, but simply had no information. She suggested I email NVC research again.

So, no one actually bypasses NVC? They just write that for no reason? I swear USCIS is so useless and can’t do anything right.

Yes. Apparently one is an older form and the other is newer. Or something like that

Either way they're both standard language and all completed I-129f applications go to NVC

How long have you guys waited on the phone line before you talked to a NVC Rep? My fiance waited an hour before he cancelled the call.

We sent an email through AskNVC, we received a reply after 3 days. The email stated that it takes 6 weeks for NVC to receive the application from USCIS.
