The CO can't deny someone stating a large age gap as the sole reason, rather the denial reason would be considered a lack of a genuine relationship. This is especially true if a large age difference is not normal in your country and culture. So to answer your question in a simple manner, yes a large age difference could lead to a denial.

we were denied K1 and 1 CR1

age gap is big

we had to fight 6 years and several trips with face time to get the visa

i also had to do more than normal like add him to deed to house,  IRS tax returms, get ITIN and add to bank account, utility bill

they really can not say age as that is unconstituional according to 14th Amendment

A lot of people apply for CR1s with large age gaps. Some are approved and some denied. In order to get an answer that better fits your situation please answer the following questions. What country is the beneficiary (person intending to immigrate)? How big is the age gap? How many times have the two people met in person and for how many days? Do you share the same religion?

Like many answers - - it depends. An age gap alone isn't an automatic denial.

My husband and I have an age gap and we had no problem.  We had been in a LD relationship with regular time spent together for 3 years before filing for our visa. If you have a whirlwind relationship, an age gap will hurt.

The country makes a difference. Depending on what the cultural norms are. The other points of a bona fide relationship have to be rounded out (pictures, financial, etc.)

Don't think the country makes any difference. I am almost 15 years older than my US husband which isn't the norm either in HK or the States. Not once was that mentioned during our interviews and everything went smoothly.

Did any one get denied cuz the age gap

The more of these that you answer "yes" to, the bigger the struggle it will be to be a

proved:

- are you male?

- are you from North Africa?

- is the age gap 20 years or more?

- is your wife white?

- did you marry on her first visit?

Also, you will probably be asked how you feel about never experiencing fatherhood if your wife is of an age where a pregnancy would be unlikely.
