Hi Visa fellow Visa hopefuls!

My son (2 years old) and I are under f2A visa process. Our PD is  Feb 2016. County: Philippines CS: California. these are my concerns please help us who can:

1. My son has learning disability (down syndrome), and I understand that we need to undergo Medical Screening. is there a possibility that we get denied for a visa? :(

2. What do we need to bring during our Medical screening and Interview to help us?

3. Do we need a Immigration Atty to aid us?

thank you in advance. Godbless :)

No no you don't need an attorney, his down syndrome will not prevent you guys from getting a visa. They're only worried about tuberculosis and syphilis. Good luck

I would certainly go with evidence showing how you will be funding his care.

I would take everything, health insurance is an important part of the situation.

do you think meeting the 125% poverty level in i864 wont be enough? or they will be asking for more like health insurance?

I don't think health insurance shall be asked. My brother has a disability (Autism) and we were asked to provide diagnosis at the time of his medical, which we  did. No insurance was asked at the time of interview and his visa was approved.
