Happy Thanksgiving!

I just wanted to know if anyone was in my shoe and/or if I can give and receive some advice on this topic.

Everyone's case is different but here's mine. (legally entered the US, overstayed my visa, currently under DACA, and married to a US citizen).

We are happily married but this process really stresses us out. We are seriously considering to hire a paralegal/lawyer to proofread my work. but I feel like all my hard work and numerous hours were spent in vain.

Is anyone there out there in my shoe?

Do you think I should try submitting once again myself or hire someone?

Any recommendations for paralegals/lawyers and how much do they charge?

I am not an expert in any way and I am just sharing my experience.

I have prepared the forms referring to the examples shown on the link (here).

3 checks :  $1140 (I-485), I-130 ($535), and biometric fees ($85)

G-1145E  Notification of application

I-485        Adjustment of status

G-325A    Biographic information (2 copies for myself and 1 copy for my spouse)

I-864        Affidavit of Support

I-693 (from USCIS designated clinic), should be sealed

I-130        Petition for Alien Relative

I-130A      Supplemental Information for Spouse Beneficiary.

and all the supplemental evidence needed (marriage certificate, pictures, bills, photos) etc.

Basic but important things...

1. Include the right fees. Currently (Nov 2017), the fees are $1760.

2. Make sure you check the form version on the bottom left before submitting. (Compare date on bottom left to the form on USCIS website.)

3. Sign all your forms.

hi

that's an individual decision,

now the G325A isn't needed,  it was replaced by the i130A so no need to send that one

you haven't mentioned the i1765 which is for the EAD work permit

plus you don't need to send separate checks, especially with the biometrics fee, you can send one check with the total
