Hi, 

 

Apologies if this is a repeated post - I searched through some topics but just want to be sure I'm following the most up-to-date advice.

 

I received my green card in April after coming over on a K-1. My husband and I are moving apartments this weekend. Is the AR-11 the only form I need to fill out to let USCIS know of my new address?

  • yes, you need to file a AR-11. You can do this online.
  • Your husband (sponsor, I assume) needs to file form i-865. For reasons beyond my comprehension, this has to be done on paper / snail mail. However, he has like a month or 2 to do it.

Just went through this myself. Good luck with the move!

Ah ok, I didn't realize the sponsor had to fill in a form too. They don't make it easy...! Thanks for your help :)
