Hello everyone,

I am new here and I am really glad I found you all. :D   My case is now at the NVC since 9/15/17 and on Nov 2 2017 via email, they (NVC) contacted me requesting copy of court case, which we sent asap, which they received Nov 6, 2017.  Will we have to wait another 60 days to get a response/decision?:huh:

yes you will. Anytime you receive a checklist with any more info they need and you send it in, that resets the clock back to 11 weeks. I know, it sucks!

Yes it did, they lost my husbands birth certificate so they sent me a check list to send the birth certificate and was told 11 weeks for review.

The clock is reset, yes.  However it seldom actually takes 11 weeks.   That's just a CYA standard, not necessarily a reality.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

Darn it! Not what I wanted to hear. :wacko:  But thank you.  This process has been long and tiring.  Just looking for it to be over with.

ditto! I've been at NVC waiting for a CC since 7-24-2017... and I'm still getting B.S. about new scan dates and waiting on supervisor review to make sure it wasn't a mistake because I have not sent them anything since sept 19. I'm also ready for this process to come to an end.

Wow you been waiting since July!  That is more than average wait time.  Do you have a lawyer assisting you with your case?

yea i know and its because we got checklist.. no, not a lawyer but someone did help us.
