Hi @Amisharjil, can you please help me out. They have me going around in circles. I called USCIS exactly at 8AM eastern standard time like the agent I spoke to yesterday suggested so I can be put through to a Tier 2 officer, but again I wasn't able to speak to one because there was a wait and they couldn't set up a call back overseas.

With the letter you sent, did you have to include any specific info aside from your receipt number and new address?

I also tried to change it online again, however when it asks to confirm your current address the only options it provides on the drop down selection for states are the ones in the U.S. How were you able to do it online?

Hi Amisharjil were you able to help Liz92??

Liz92 you will have to trust someone here in the United States to change your address as doing it on line is the fastest I believe..

even when I tried to do the change of address here in USA on my computer for her, the problem is the old address that she filed with when it comes to the drop down menu it doesn't allow her to chose anything except for places inside the USA

Oh ok, gotcha. Then Liz92 can you download that form for Change of address and mail it to them or better yet call them? Explain the problem you are having and hope you get someone who will be happy to assist you.... A nice caring one

Hi Sundee, when you did your change of address online, was it from a US address to another US address?

As it seems that's the only option when doing it online.

I'll ask my parents to have a look, but I think they will be limited to the same thing as my address and post code in Australia is not recognized by the computer.

Hi again @Amisharjil, sorry one more question because the agent on the phone couldn't help with the address to send the letter either. I just wanted to verify the address of the Chicago Lockbox? And did you send it to that address after being assigned to a service center like Nebraska? Was it just a hand written letter, or did you use a specific form? Thanks in advance.

Yes Liz92 my change of address was from a US address to another US addresss, so i see that’s why I had no problems.

This is yet another problem uscis needs to fix on their on line web as everyone should be able to change their address no matter where they live abroad or here in USA

They make the simplest things impossible. Surely, they know they are dealing with a lot of foreign people. I can't be the only one with this problem. Or make it clear that you can only use a US address to begin with.

So I called USCIS for the first time today and ask to talk to the tier 2 officer. She took all my information and did a call back request. I was also told that it can take upto 5 business days to get a call back. Is this normal? or should I try again?

My son called today and was told the call back time was approximately 260 minutes !!! Which is up to 5 days I suppose.

Normally a tier 2 will call you back that day unless you call near their closing time. 260 mins is 4 hrs 20 mins so maybe your call back will happen today.. Good luck
