Who called me

Where did we meet

When we got married

How many weddings

Where he works

My address in Nigeria

Here's my question here. Will I receive an confirmation through email from USCIS after they get my RFE response via snail mail??? I know it takes some time to arrive there in the States from overseas. Thanks!

Hi everyone,

I just called USCIS because it's now been over 2 months since they received my response to an RFE. She said it's definitely over the timeframe because they are working on Feb cases and I sent my app through in Jan 2017 and she would be happy to put a service request for me. However, because my address was overseas she could not do it until i changed it. I explained the trouble I've had in trying to change my address with them. She advised that I call as close as possible to 8AM eastern standard time that way they won't have to put me on hold for a Tier 2 officer.

I'm going to have to call at 3AM tomorrow but i hope this finally works.

if the only way that you can file the change of address, can someone that is in the USA go in to do it for you. I think in a previous post you said it wasn't working because you were out of the country, just didn't know if someone inside could do it for you.

I can have my parents try to do it for me if this doesn't work tomorrow, the only thing is i know they need to speak to the actual applicant.

Liz92, I submitted my change of address On line to Uscis and then they sent me a email confirming of my address change and they also updated it in my uscis app that my address was assigned to a officer to change it. So it can be done on line.
