Well guys. Woke up this morning, checked my USCIS app and low and behold...our I-129F (K3) was updated to "case closed, benefits received by other means"!!!! I know that this means our I-130 has been/will be approved so I am jumping for joy. It's been one year, one month, and 3 days since we filed (PD Dec 6) which is absolutely ridiculous. I'm just glad that we can finally move forward, onto the next phase of this horrible process. For those of you from Dec that are still waiting, hang in there. Yours should be coming any day now.

@MyJourney we submitted both the passport photos and the dissolution of marriage with our initial petition. But apparently the passport photos were not done correctly and they needed a certified copy of the dissolution of marriage (which I thought is what we submitted).

Congratulations🎊🎉

Good luck for next steps

well craptastic, I know I am going to be hit with a need for certified copies of both of my divorces, I think I only sent in copies and not certified copies. Thank you for sharing this.

Finally,My wife talked with uscis now and they said that we got approved and the noa2 was sent today

This is my first post. Not exactly sure how this works.... Need to get involved with a community of people who understand the stress and angst of this process.

I&A/T, did y’all file your I-130 in September? Your receipt number (the few numbers I can read) looks like the first few of mine, and I filed our I-130 September 9, 2017. I filed what I thought was a near perfect petition, but after only four months, I thought it was way to early to approval notices to go out.

Yes this process is very frustrating and this forum of people are very supportive and most are very informational...

Hang in there and keep yourself busy as you need to keep your mind stress free.
