Congrats! I know when we got the news this past week it felt like the biggest weight was lifted off our shoulders. For the first time you can actually see there will be an end to all the madness. I have been told NVC has been exceptionally fast for Canadians so here is to hoping it will be! I hope for everyone waiting you will get your approval soon too!

I was talking to a nice person in the Canada forum and they said it took about 3 weeks for the NVC to receive their file and only 1 week to go through the whole NVC process. I can't confirm this as I am just starting NVC but I can let you know once I start going through the steps how long it will take.

When I have studied the stats (I know I have no life) the average was about 1 month at NVC so it must be very quick. I have seen a range of about 2-6 weeks. From what I understand a lot of the NVC process is done via email for Canada. I look at all the steps at NVC and think how is this even possible it could be so fast? But hopefully it is!

Judging on the stats the wait time for an interview in Montreal right now is about 2 months with a few people waiting 3 months.

Please do let me know, when you are done your  NVC process. I am curious to know.

Haha you are not the only one who does not have any life. I was literally trying to do the same thing after I read your post. Can you point me to where you saw your data. So I can spend my Saturday morning analyzing it as well. might even might beak out excel to help with analyzing it. lol

You can look up data via visa type, service center (transfers or no transfers), country http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/k1list.php?op3=5&op5=&op6=All

Sometimes I would look at people's individual timelines to get an idea about the NVC time frame as it is not on that particular spreadsheet. I will keep my timeline updated as I move along the process.

This data if you don't have it already will show you the most current approvals for Nebraska (although I am not sure why my case does not appear): http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthly_filers.php?form=2&visa=3&scenter=5&option=2&sortby=2

I used to post all the approvals for Nebraska but was not sure how annoying that was. If you want to follow the most recent approvals in Nebraska and other service centers you can download the USCIS APP on your phone. You just add your case number and you can put your settings to hear about other cases similar to yours. This gave me an idea of where Nebraska was in terms of which month they were working on. The approvals on the app are often done after the paper NOA2 is sent about 7-10 days after. So you will see most people getting their approvals in the mail before it gets updated on the website (not all cases but most).
