Thanks, right back at you! It’s beyond frustrating at this point. Our lawyer is suggesting we involve member of Congress, as hopeless as we feel, I guess it’s worth a try.

That is exactly what I tried to do today, i filled out the form so they could talk to USCIS on my behave, cant say i will get much further but will keep you updated, if I can ask whats your PD?

Does anyone know if you always get notified if your case is in initial review?  I spoke to Tier 2 a week ago and he said I was in initial review but I never received a notification saying that.  So now I wonder if he lied?

I called the rep several times and 2 months ago they told me someone is actively working on my case. They assured me that my case isn't just left alone in the queue- someone is actively working on it. However I get this status update now. I have no idea ####### those reps told me. Did they just lie to me ? This is just unacceptable.

we sure are!  PD Dec 8.  They better close out all of December 2016 by the end of this December.  No one should be left behind and still be waiting in January from December 2016.

Hang in there @Khallaf! Each and everyone of us in this forum will eventually make it out of Hellbraska, but just know that we are all here for each other. Your husband will be home with you soon you just have to keep your head up. There are wonderful individuals in this forum that can answer most of your questions and even give advice or a friendly reminder that you will get through Hellbraska. One of those souls that I find to be my angel through this time right now is @Sundee. We're all sailing on the same boat and we must try our very best to keep our boat afloat. Hang in there!

Crysta, I will walk with you through this process to the end and beyond. We are here for one another and I want you to keep busy and keep faith as that is what keeps u going. Your husband will join u and then all of us can look back and say, wow we really made it...

This process is not easy and we shed many tears but in the end it will make you stronger and after all said and done you can always be there for the next person also needing a person who cares and who’s there for them in time of need.

You’re a very sweet person and God will see you through all this...

Come on Nebraska get moving.. 😀

Wow, my husband just got the mail now. They only requested for my passport photographer. Though he added it previously, it wasn't the size the requested for.But my husband can't send it in till Monday when he's off work. He resume work 9am and post office off 9am too.

That's a relief,as it is easy to fulfil. Hope they'll process it quickly and get on with it. :)

My case was updated on Nov 7th saying it was being sent to NVC. I called NVC on Nov 13th and was told that they received my file on the 9th and to call back in 2 weeks for case # and iin number. I instead called on the 20th and received my case and iin numbers. It can take up to 6 weeks.

Update your timeline if your husband have sent out your response

I will do just that Abies, he's sending it next week. He want his sister to bring the passport photo to him, instead of me sending it through DHL.
