Mrs Prestige, my dear friend who is like a sister to me lives there in Nigeria. She is also waiting there in Nigeria while her husband is waiting on their NVC case # so they can get things moving.

My dear sweet friend was becoming hopeless and loosing faith but now she has seen that you can never loose that faith or that hope and thank God she has now coming back to life , so I say this to say that it will come to a end.

We must always hold on to faith and never give up hope. Anything in this life that we want is wotthing waiting for.. Nothing comes easy, but it does come...

Have a blessed week..,

U are right @Sundee sometimes when u passing through some phase in life, u think it's the end of the world, that it will never come to an end, all u need is to do, is to have faith in God, because with him all things are possible. Never give up, keep pressing, before u know it, u are already at ur destination.

How long is the nvc process if everything goes smoothly. Our case was sent to dos on the 12th of Feb. Approximately after how many months should I expect the interview.  Our embassy is London. Just want a rough  idea to get things sorted out before moving. Thanks

I know I haven't finished and I am waiting for my case # like you are, and since neither one of us are part of the CEAC or the email process, we have to snail mail all our documents to NVC as would venture to say we have about another 4-5 months max before it is all done

I was thinking while waiting at hellbraska that nvc will be a lot quicker. But seems that's not the case.  Good luck to us.

since each state for us will take time, as we are not part of the faster programs that NVC offers we could be looking at a little longer stint at NVC

but the worst part is behind

I know I have gotten to know many people through the Nebraska forum this past year. I just wanted to share my IR1 visa along with my son's IR2 visa was approved in Montreal today! I know you often wonder if you will ever get through this process but I can assure you it eventually happens! Keep the faith!

Wow. Congrats to you and your son. My daughter and I will soon be through this as well. Did they ask your son questions as well?

You’re welcome... Make sure you also have original or certified copy of marriage certificate and make copy of it to send to NVC. Also you need copy of inside of your husbands passport. I printed all out in color so it can be seen clearly.

I have our original and certified copy of our  marriage certificate, so I have to take it to Ghana with me for my husbands interview plus copies of so many documents that they already have.. They keep saying bring original and a copy, so I’m going to be at my printer again.. Wow, does it ever end?

Oh I think I only  have the copy of the marriage certificate with me. I left the original with him just in case am not able to be there for the interview. I guess if it comes to it he can scan it and send it to me. It’s reallu fraustrating how complicated this is. Why ask all these in the beginning and ask for it for the consulate level when I’ve heard they sometimes don’t even look at it. Am just waiting “patiently” for them to start working on July.

Hi All, my I-130 was just approved on Monday by means of an expedite. I was wondering if it'll get sent to NVC faster since it was expedited, or if the transfer time will still be the same? Any experience? I'm really anxious to get the NVC case number and get the ball rolling on that. Thanks!
