Yes, that's correct I just emailed NVC today with my explanation that I couldn't hear or speak to make the phone call so hopefully they email me with the case dated they receive. I do not know maybe I could try directly to the us embassy in Manila and ask for it in person.

 The criminal records of the beneficiary from all the countries she/he had been for over 6 months, are necessary for NVC and for the interview. The document is valid only for 6 months.

 

If the beneficiary have previous convictions in her/his records, it's necessary to provide all the Police/court records of the case.

 

You send copies of all the documents to the NVC, since originals are gonna be necessary for the interview.

as long as you sent to USCIS all the requirements in the instructions you should be fine, however depending on the case officer you get and if they see something missing you might get one.

 

I can't say for certain if you will or will not. you sent in passport photos for both yourself and spouse? and the marriage certificate if not in English was translated?

 

for mine I sent in affidavits from friends, my family, witness to marriage, photos from all the trips up to sending in the papers.

Oh am just taking it a day at a time. Can’t believe it’s been 200 days. I’ve seen posts about spending more than a year in Nebraska and hope it’s not later than that. It’s hell

Who here on this vj forum is filling for Spouse from Ghana? I think it would be nice and helpful for all of us petitioning our spouses from Ghana to form a Whatsapp group, so we can share ideas and information as we all know this is a tough Embassy and We NEED ALL SUPPORT WE CAN GET.

It’s quite annoying seeing people that filed after you did get approved from other centers and all you can do is nothing. There’s nothing fair about the system and it sucks.
